Who we are
ThreadLog is a UK-based service for organising WhatsApp business conversations. Our contact email is hello@threadlog.co.uk.
What data we collect
- Email address — collected when you first use the tool, so we can send you updates and account information.
- WhatsApp chat text — the text you paste or upload is sent to our server to be processed by AI. It is not stored permanently. Results are held for up to 24 hours (to power shareable links) and then deleted.
- Usage data — anonymous usage counts stored in your browser (localStorage) to enforce the free tier limit.
How we use your data
- To generate your WhatsApp thread summary (lawful basis: contract / legitimate interest).
- To send product updates and tips to your email (lawful basis: legitimate interest — you can unsubscribe any time).
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- Your conversation text is never used to train AI models.
Third-party processors
- Anthropic — processes your chat text to generate summaries. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy and data processing agreement.
- Stripe — processes payments. We never see your card details.
- Vercel — hosts the application.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email hello@threadlog.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
ThreadLog uses only functional browser storage (localStorage) to track free-tier usage. No marketing or tracking cookies are used.
